ARNICA, Heterotheca inuloides
Arnica is a type of perennial plant in the daisy family. It is recognizable by its flowers, which have an orange center and yellow petals. Original from central and southern Europe but also diffused throughout Asia and North America in mountains and acid soils.
Since ancient times, its use as an anti-inflammatory is well known throughout the world, as an effective remedy against bruising or twisting blows. However, it is also used for rheumatism, gastro-intestinal treatments, and even cancer and diabetes.
